Birdline Midlands covers Bedfordshire, Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire,
Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire,
Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire.
Birdline Midlands messages have a carefully structured content. First you will hear
today's news, followed by directions to less obvious sites. Then will come highlights from
the previous day and earlier in the week. Sometimes extremely rare National occurrences
will be featured at the end of the current days news.

BIRDLINE MIDLANDS is interested in your sightings, especially
of:-
- All regional and national rarities
- Uncommon species e.g. divers, scarce grebes, sea duck etc
- harriers, Osprey, white-winged gulls, shrikes, Waxwings, Snow Bunting etc
- Early and late dates for migrants
- Influxes of Crossbills
- All passage and winter waders
- Out of normal range sightings: e.g. Seabirds inland; petrels, Shag, skuas, auks,
shearwaters, Kittiwake etc
- All terns and interesting gulls
- Large finch flocks e.g Brambling, Siskin and Redpoll
- Unusual concentrations of birds
- Anything else you feel is interesting
